MUNDOLOCOS HISTORY goes back to 2003 in Austria when we were infected by the colorful subcultures related to contemporary club music and \u201celectronic music styles.\u201d Primarily hooked by genres like NuJazz, Breakbeat and jazzy Downtempo, we later shifted to a more technoid and \u201cclubby\u201d approach (in about 2008).<\/p>\n

However we always stayed with the \u201cacoustical concept\u201d making music: We barely used loop-machines and we improvised a lot. In collaboration we toured with many different great guest musicians and also video artists. On mundolocos stage one could find drums, percussion, bass, horns, keyboards, guitars, turntables, veejays and vocals.<\/p>\n

In 2003\/2004 we recorded our first live album, earned a single release on \u201cUniversal Music\u201d and two newcomer awards at:\u00a0 \u201cAUSTRIAN YOUNG \/LIONS\u201d 2003 | \u201cNEWCOMER FESTIVAL\u201d 2004. A year later we moved to Berlin.\"band_berlin\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Mundoloco toured Italy, Austria, Germany, Ukraine and Poland.
